Welcome to Black Love Matters Period, a business that not only celebrates love but also tackles the challenges faced by people of color head-on. We recognize that being a person of color comes with unique struggles, including issues surrounding crime, poverty, and societal stereotypes. Our mission is to create a platform that highlights the importance of love, unity, and community to break free from these stereotypes and build a brighter future.

In our society, it's crucial to address the difficulties faced by communities of color. We acknowledge the impact of crime and its disproportionate presence in certain neighborhoods. However, we also believe it's essential to dispel the misconception of "black on black crime" and emphasize that crime is not exclusive to any particular racial or ethnic group. We aim to foster understanding and open conversations that challenge these harmful stereotypes.

Poverty is another significant challenge faced by many people of color. We understand the systemic factors that contribute to economic disparities and strive to address them by promoting education, empowerment, and economic opportunities within our community. We believe that by equipping individuals with the tools to succeed, we can break the cycle of poverty and create a more inclusive society.

At Black Love Matters Period, we firmly believe in the power of family and community. We recognize the importance of strong family units and the positive impact they have on raising children. Through our work, we aim to support and uplift families of color, providing resources and guidance to help them navigate the unique challenges they may encounter.

We are dedicated to spreading love, not hate. Respect and embracing our differences are at the core of our values. We believe that by fostering love, understanding, and compassion, we can bridge divides and build a society where everyone is treated with dignity and equality. Our business serves as a platform for showcasing and emphasizing the power of love to break through societal stereotypes and biases.

Education plays a vital role in challenging misconceptions and breaking barriers. We encourage the pursuit of knowledge and strive to provide educational resources that empower individuals and communities of color. By fostering a culture of continuous learning, we aim to set a positive example and inspire others to pursue their educational goals.

At Black Love Matters Period, we are committed to creating positive change. We invite you to join us on this journey as we strive to build a society that celebrates diversity, love, and understanding. Together, through love, respect, and education, we can break free from stereotypes and create a better future for generations to come.

About Us

As a minority-woman, veteran-owned company, we are rooted in the commitment, of embracing and emphasizing Afrocentric culture, and the evolution of its contributions.  Black Love Matters Period, represents us as a union of Kings and Queen; therefore, within a hope chest of authenticity, each ornament of jewelry, is paired with an exquisite phrase, poem, scripture, or statement of affirmation. This creates a connection to known expressions of art, dialects, sentiments, and greetings!

About BLMsP

Black Love Matters Period started out selling jewelry. We then expanded into selling merchandise offering a wide range of products that’s customized for people of color.
The niche that we are filling is dire. There is not enough representation of us PERIOD. We’ve always had to force our way through to be seen, to be acknowledged, accepted and respected. We’re always getting “left out” & “left behind” while other cultures flourish. See, they care about their people and genuinely wants them to thrive. They share their knowledge and reach a hand back down to pull up another. Why can’t we do the same? Jealousy? Crabs in a bucket mentality? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Black Love Matters Period mission is to awaken people in this world to recognize that black love matters period; no matter where you are or whom you choose to share it with. The negativity that surrounds people of color is cruel & mostly false. They DO NOT highlight the good; they only spotlight the bad.
So, regardless of the negative stigma or way we are portrayed in society on tv, in rap songs, on video’s, on news channels, I am here to show, acknowledge, & to spread a bright light on the darkness that dims and surrounds POC. We need to show more black & brown love amongst ourselves. To show the world that Black Love Matters PERIOD!
Share our love often and in a more positive light.
THAT’S OUR GOAL!

So, if you are down for this movement, please spread the word and rep our products. 1 by 1 we can change the narrative.

TELL OUR OWN STORY for once.

Let’s 1st start by:

  • Loving ourselves enough
  • Respecting one another
  • Helping & encouraging one another
  • Honoring our mothers, fathers and our elders
  • Taking care of our children & raising them in the way they should go (It does take a village)
  • Protecting our woman & children
  • Speaking out against crime (see something; say something),
  • When you see one is being wronged, step up
  • Stopping & reporting abuse
  • Say something nice to someone
  • Give a compliment
  • Hold open a door
  • Uplifting our men & woman and treating them like the KINGS & QUEENS we are.
  • Pray for one another
  • Speak LIFE not DEATH
  • Give back to the community
